1. What is NetSamooha?

NetSamooha means "Net Community". It is an online community that leverages the "Word of Mouth" knowledge to provide users with information about the best buisnesses, events, products in their community. NetSamooha also provides forum for discussion of topics of local and national interest, has a recipe corner to share your favorite recipies.

2. Why should I register at NetSamooha?

Anyone can use NetSamooha to get information, but registering will allow you to share your knowledge with your community. It also helps you to find other people with intrests similar to you.

3. Why do I need to validate my e-mail?

NetSamooha wants to make sure that any content created on the site is not SPAM. We want to make sure anyone registering at NetSamooha has a valid email. Please be assured that your e-mail will not be shared with anyone except as documented in the Privacy Policy and User Agreement.

4. What are Guides and when should I write a Guide?

You can create a Guide to write a recipe, post an article about your city or neighbourhood, or write something about a topic on which you are an expert like an investment letter, how to buy a camera or car. Other users can rate your Guide but they cannot edit it.

5. Why should I allow other users to edit my listings?

NetSamooha offers a Wiki-like approach to creation of content. When you post a listings, you have the opportunity to let others update your posting to provide more details or updates. This ensures that the information is accurate. All edits are totally transparent and everyone can see all the older versions of a listing.
